Services

I believe life does not have to hurt, and that healing happens when care is both deeply human and clinically thoughtful. Doing nothing is never a plan. Real change comes from clear assessment, integrated treatment, and a safe relationship where we can take meaningful steps forward, one at a time.

Conditions I Treat

I work with adults, adolescents, and families whose inner lives feel overwhelming, painful, or misaligned. I am especially drawn to people who are insightful, thoughtful, and ready to explore beneath the surface.

Common areas I work with include:

  • Depression and Mood Disorders
Including major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant depression. I find this work especially meaningful because people who feel deeply hopeless can experience dramatic and life-changing improvement with the right combination of care.

  • Suicidality and Existential Distress
For people who are quietly questioning whether life is worth continuing. I focus on careful risk assessment, clear planning, and staying connected rather than defaulting to fear-driven or fragmented care.

  • Trauma and PTSD
Including single-incident trauma and complex, relational trauma. I work with survivors of abuse, sexual trauma, religious trauma, and people exposed to critical incidents such as first responders and public safety professionals.

  • LGBTQ+ and Gender-Diverse Care
Support for people navigating sexual orientation, gender identity, family dynamics, faith, and shame. I also provide pre-surgical psychiatric evaluations and ongoing support before and after gender-affirming care.

  • Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders
I enjoy working with individuals who are often misunderstood or marginalized. My focus is on relational safety, curiosity, and helping people build meaningful connection alongside symptom management.

  • Highly Intelligent Children and Adolescents with Emotional Regulation Difficulties
Supporting capable kids and their families by helping everyone understand the nervous system, reduce conflict, and build connection.

Treatment Modalities I Offer

My practice integrates psychotherapy, psychiatry, and whole-person care. Medication is one tool, not the whole plan. Everything is chosen to help you feel more whole, grounded, and free.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
We all have complex inner worlds made up of different “parts” shaped by our experiences. IFS helps us get to know those parts with curiosity and compassion so they no longer have to fight each other to keep you safe.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you clarify what truly matters to you and move toward those values, even when painful thoughts or emotions show up. You do not have to believe or act on everything you think or feel to live a meaningful life.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR helps traumatic memories shift from feeling like they are still happening into memories that belong in the past. This can significantly reduce emotional reactivity and distress tied to trauma.

  • IFIO (Intimacy From the Inside Out)
A relationship-focused extension of IFS that helps individuals and couples understand how their internal worlds show up in connection, conflict, and intimacy.

  • Psychiatric Medication Management
Medications can help restore balance in parts of the brain that are not functioning optimally. I approach medication thoughtfully and collaboratively, with an emphasis on precision rather than trial-and-error.

  • Lifestyle Interventions
Sleep, stress, movement, and daily rhythms matter. We look at how your lifestyle supports or undermines your mental health and make realistic, sustainable changes.

  • Nutrition and Nutraceuticals
Mental health symptoms are still symptoms of a body. Nutrition is foundational, and supplements such as methylfolate or omega-3s can be helpful when used appropriately.

  • Pharmacogenomic Testing
When indicated, genetic testing can provide insight into how your body metabolizes medications and help guide safer, more effective choices.

  • Lab Work and Diagnostic Testing
I draw bloodwork in my office to reduce barriers to care. This can include medication serum levels, micronutrients, homocysteine, and other labs that help us understand what is happening under the hood.

  • NADA 5-Point Acupuncture
A non-medication acupuncture protocol rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, used to support regulation and balance in the nervous system.

Appointment Types

I keep my practice intentionally small so that care feels relational, accessible, and responsive. Sessions are longer than typical psychiatric visits because meaningful work takes time.

90-Minute Initial Evaluation
Fee: $320
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnostic assessment, detailed history, initial treatment planning, brief psychotherapy/psychoeducation, possible labs/testing (additional fee).

25-Minute Follow-Up Appointment

If you are looking for care that is thoughtful, integrated, and deeply relational, I would be honored to work with you.
